Victor (it’s not his real name but his real name was boring, he picked a different one to represent his new station in life once he Catalyzed) is kind of a geek, he always has been. Smart, brilliant even, he just really never had the drive to make much of his natural talents. So when he grows up, instead of going out and doing things, he becomes a mechanic. He has an on again and off again relationship with this girl he likes. When she moves on, he finds someone else.
Then one night, when he’s microwaving a burrito for a late night dinner INSPIRATION strikes. A day later and he’s disassembled the microwave, a radio, toaster, and his television to make this little robot with a microwave cannon who promptly lights his couch on fire. It’s a revelation, he knows that this is what his life is meant for. He has this vision of a world with better, cleaner, practical robotics. That transform. And have… Lightning Guns…
Okay, he’s not exactly sure how all these things together will actually make the world a safer, better place. But he thinks that’s perfectly fine. It is, to him, self evident that an army of transforming robots with lighting guns will lead to a better world somehow. Half the fun in building a better world is figuring out how to use your tools correctly, right?
It’s this kind of attitude that brought him into the fold of the Progenitors, where he’s been studying a broad range of topics through some correspondence courses. He’s joined the task group because honestly, he wants a place where he can test out his creations in real world conditions.
